Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog this week. This week I will be touching on our production progress and our key moments of our film opening.   During the previous class I was able to meet up with other students, who are not in my group, to be able to get an opinion and constructive criticism. Meeting with other people did help in my case to see things in a different perspective. Someone did tell me to get an overview of the movie as a whole and then see what would be best to put in the film opening. This comment was actually very useful because then whatever information is used in the film opening will give a good introduction. When I introduced the idea to my peers they related it to the film Birdbox,  which is where we got our inspiration. Now all we need to make sure is that we have our idea all planned out for when we are going to film it.       Finally last post of the week our shooting dates!! We have decided to film on March 9-10th sooo that is a week away. We are trying to film a lot in one day and have the other day to be able to get the shots that we need. Throughout the week we will be doing a lot of planning in preparation to shot that weekend. I am really anxious on how it is going to turn out and how the whole process will occur. As of right now we have most things planned out we just need to make sure we have all of the props and things we need. Any other materials we will need I will get throughout the week but other than that we should be set to film this weekend. If there is anything that we are not able to accomplish this weekend then we will set another date to make sure we have all of the shots necessary. We have chosen a very close date since I need up to two weeks to be able to edit this thing together. Well wish us luck until then:) AMANDA CORTES   

        Hey everyone , this is the third post this week. So in this post Im gonna be talking about the storyboard.        So for the storyboard we did not want to plan out everything specifically cause we know that when we go to film it its not gonna go exactly how we want it. We have made just basic summary on how we are planning to shoot our film opening. We have just briefly gone through some of the essential shots that we want like a medium shot of the tv and things like that.         There is not much as of right now since like i said we don't want to plan it out too much since everything might not go according to plan. For now i think we have a good and broad idea of what we will do so when we film we can add or take out things that we think are necessary. Well lets see how it goes when we film.  AMANDA CORTES

        Hey guys so for this post I am going to tell you all about what we have planned out for the layout of our film.        We believe to film in a garage that has been turned into a room. We want to make it seem as run down as possible. The reason we have decided to make it look like this is because we want to give it an edging feel to the audience. Having a place seem all run down and dark will give the film the feel that we want in our film opening. Most of the film opening will occur in this place. In the garage we are going to keep it very basic and have a couch and a tv. The tv is the most crucial part because that is how we are going to get our message across to the audience. If we are not able to find a couch we have to make sure we have a tv.         Welcome back to the blog! In this post I am going to catch you guys up on what we have full planned out for the film opening. We have been going back and forth on what we should do for the outline but I think we have come and decided what we are going to do.  We wrote out our outline which is shown below so you guys can see what we have planned out. We are basically just basing it off that a virus or demon gets to people by "hacking" into them . We will pursue this through the use of the tv. Not much action is going to happen in this opening but enough will be shown to leave the audience questioning what is going to happen next. More will be stated in future posts so watch out for those.         Alright its time for the second post of the week. So in the previous post I hit on the topics about genre and our main character. Now I will be goin a little more in-depth with the concept and other things that should help our process.         So like I mentioned previously we will be doing a horror/thriller combo. We draw inspiration from movies like Get Out to be able to get as close to the thriller feel as we can. Since we are planning on having a sort of virus take over, we are hoping we can grasp the feel in the film opening. We are planning on having a very run down room with a couch and a tv. Our main character would be living in this situation and be watching tv.         Hey guys so today i will be getting you up to speed about what I have began to think about for my film opening. So to get started I am actually not working on this alone. My partner, Jules Fuentes, and I have began the process of brainstorming what will be occurring in our film opening.          To begin we had to pick an genre in which the film opening will be consisting of. The first genre that came to mind was Horror and as a matter of fact that is what the genre of this film opening will be. The reason we had come upon choosing horror is because we feel that we have a wide range of ideas that we could use for this film opening. Going hand in hand with horror we have also decided to include thriller in with the horror.
